Those types of programs are the so-called CO-OP courses, that mix a class period + an internship period in your area of specialization. Besides that, most public 2-year colleges make international students eligible for the PGWP, or Post Graduation Work Permit.
This is a work permit you can take after you finish your studies , which allows the student to stay in the country for up to 2 more years with full work permission and without the need to undertake a further course. The duration of the PGWP will vary according to the duration of the College. This is also a very popular program for brazilian students who have plans to immigrate or would like to travel with dependents, such as spouses or children.
